While most businesses are created to generate profits and wealth for their owners OM Surf International was created to fund world changing projects. We at OM believe that it is important to keep in mind the fundamental reason for starting a business. While most business models insist in proliferation of funds and taking advantage of others in order to build wealth, OM believes that by putting money back into our community we can change the world and in the long run earn higher returns for a longer sustainable business model.

One might ask how can this be done without taking advantage of cheaper labor, environmental infractions, and producing a cheaper product and selling it for a much higher return. The answer is simple, give back to your community and watch their growth and potential rise. Once this has been done they will be able to afford your product. Not only the small market that has wealth but all will be able to buy your product. Because as self worth rises, so too will education, when education rises, so will earning potential. When looking at numbers this is the way we calculated growing our business.

Our hope is to continue our growth potential and inspire other companies to adopt the same model for operating a business. It would be a lie if we did not claim that we intend to make a profit and increase our quality of life, for if we cannot increase our worth then we could not continue to make a difference in the world. Yet OM Surf International was started to support non-profits making a difference in the world, and 10% of the profits will be used for this purpose.
